We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Treasury and working closely with the Head of FP&A, the primary focus of this role is to develop and analyze investment business cases, customer and product profitability, and provide strategic insights to support key decision-making processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating comprehensive financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, conducting industry-specific research to identify trends and opportunities, preparing investment reports for senior management, supporting due diligence processes for acquisitions, and assisting in Investment Committee presentations.
In addition to investment analysis responsibilities, the Financial Analyst will also play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities. This includes introducing advanced analytical tools for budgeting and profitability assessments, supporting financial forecasting processes across the company, utilizing tools like Power BI for data transformation and reporting purposes, conducting detailed financial analysis to aid strategic planning efforts, and continuously seeking ways to enhance reporting processes through automation.
The successful candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting along with relevant professional qualifications such as CA/ACCA/CPA or CFA. A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance or investment analysis roles is required. Proficiency in tools like Power BI and Power Query is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, computer literacy (especially with Excel), familiarity with EPM forecasting tools like OneStream or HFM/Tagetik programming experience (preferably VB Script or Python/Java), effective communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders are also key requirements. Fluency in English is mandatory while knowledge of Arabic is highly preferred; additional languages such as Turkish/Kurdish/Hindi are advantageous.
