Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence, a global leader in digital reality solutions, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in Dubai. As a Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Your responsibilities will include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future financial outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing month-end closing activities, ensuring that accounting transactions adhere to applicable standards, reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing balance sheet account reconciliations. Additionally, you will be tasked with recording AP/AR invoices, checking bank statements, documenting financial transactions accurately, managing account entries and payments for the company. You will also oversee inter-company reconciliations and prepare payment requests for vendors and monthly expenses.

To qualify for this position, you must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance and accounting roles including accounts receivable/payable and general accounting. A Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience is required. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), strong knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger functions are essential. Advanced Excel skills are preferred along with familiarity with other Microsoft Office programs.

• At least 3 years of experience supporting finance and accounting
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Intermediate understanding of accounting and reporting standards
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
• Advanced Excel skills
