As a Dim Sum Chef at Lao Asian Restaurant, you will play a crucial role in menu creation, managing the kitchen team, and ensuring an excellent guest and team member experience. Your responsibilities will include maintaining overall operations of the Dim Sum section, preparing and cooking a variety of Dim Sum dishes with precision and attention to detail, collaborating with the Executive Chef on seasonal menus, sourcing the finest ingredients, supervising kitchen staff in dim sum preparation techniques, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

In addition to these tasks, you will work closely with the Food & Beverage team to tailor experiences for special events and themed dining. You will also monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, manage food costs, stay updated on culinary trends in Chinese cuisine and dim sum artistry, engage with guests during special dining experiences or events as needed to enhance guest satisfaction, and develop strategies to minimize waste and enhance sustainability in operations.
