Our client, a leading Family Office based in Dubai, UAE, is currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. The Family Office specializes in managing multi-asset investment portfolios and is committed to providing exceptional financial management services. With a focus on investment accounting and financial processes, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
As a Senior Accountant at our client's Family Office, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment accounting for multiple entities within the organization. You will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial statements, general ledger entries, tax filings, and reconciliations. Additionally, you will handle bookkeeping for various public and private investment portfolios, derivatives, structured products, and alternative assets. Your role will also involve conducting NAV calculations, portfolio reconciliations, and performance reporting for different investment entities.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounts or Finance along with CA/CMA qualifications. A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or investment firms is required. Knowledge of multi-asset investment accounting, derivatives, structured products, and alternative investments would be advantageous. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Tally and Excel is essential, with automation experience considered a plus.
