Our client, a leading Family Office in the United Arab Emirates, is currently looking for a detail-oriented and highly skilled Senior Accountant with a CA/CMA qualification to join their dynamic Accounts team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial management, investment accounting, and multi-asset portfolio structures within the family office. Previous experience in family office operations, fund accounting, and financial process optimization would be advantageous for this role.
As a Senior Accountant at our client's Family Office, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment accounting for multiple entities. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and investment-specific reporting standards. Additionally, you will manage and analyze financial statements, general ledger entries, tax filings, and reconciliations while handling bookkeeping for public and private investment portfolios including derivatives, structured products, and alternative assets.
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold CA/CMA qualifications along with a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in family offices or investment firms. Knowledge of multi-asset investment accounting as well as proficiency in ERP systems like Tally and Excel is essential. The ability to enhance financial reporting structures and streamline accounting processes will be highly valued. Strong analytical skills along with excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills are necessary to excel in this position.
