HRD Antwerp, a reputable international diamond grading and certification company, is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. Our mission is to provide top-notch services in the gemological industry while upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the Accounting & Finance functions of our legal entity in the UAE, contributing to the continuous growth and success of our organization.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO based in Antwerp - Europe, you will work closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure compliance with group accounting rules and regulations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounts receivable and payable, monitoring fixed assets and stock, preparing financial closing reports, managing local financial team members, and supporting the Managing Director in strategic business planning initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for quarterly VAT declarations, yearly budget preparation, and group reporting activities.
The ideal candidate for this position holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in an international accounting environment. Proficiency in accounting applications is preferred (knowledge of ODOO software is a plus), along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for effective communication within our multicultural team.
