As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic Director of Engineering to lead our talented team in driving process improvements and innovation.
As the Director of Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 10 direct reports and 20 indirect reports across various departments such as Engineering, Documentation Control, Programming, Testing, Process Engineering, and Technicians. Your role will involve spearheading process enhancements through root cause analysis and DFM reports with a key focus on Documentation Control, Engineering, and Manufacturing. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to your division, liaise with customers and internal departments effectively, research industry trends to ensure we stay ahead of the technology curve, collaborate with the VP of Business Development on sales initiatives, and support Program Management in meeting customer requirements.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess expertise in SMT equipment, AutoCAD/Solidworks software applications, and have hands-on experience with Reflow technologies. You should be adept at utilizing your technical acumen to tackle complex challenges head-on while leading the charge towards innovation within our organization.
