As a Finance Analyst at International SOS, you will report directly to the Regional Financial Controller MENA. Your primary responsibility will be to support the FC and Finance Managers on all OPS Billing matters, including payments and treasury. You will serve as the main point of contact for OPS Billing within the local team and GSS platforms, analyzing transactions, preparing monthly reports for senior management, and maintaining relationships with key OPS providers. Additionally, you will assist with treasury functions, provider queries, payment status updates, and ad hoc projects as needed.
To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of accounting principles such as US GAAP / IFRS, along with experience working with income statements and balance sheets. Excellent communication skills are essential as you collaborate with diverse teams and manage various tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint is expected, while familiarity with COGNOS, SUN Systems, or Vision Excel is advantageous. The ability to analyze problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines is crucial.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in public or private accounting roles and hold a BS degree in accounting or related field. A CPA, Chartered Accountant certification or similar qualification is preferred. Fluency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic or French would be an added advantage but not required for this position. While occasional visits to local sites may be necessary for audits or training purposes, extensive travel or rotational requirements are not expected.
