KitchenPark, a dynamic and rapidly growing company in the food industry, is currently looking for a Regional Finance Controller to join our team in the Middle East. As we expand our operations in the GCC region, we are seeking an experienced individual to take on the crucial role of overseeing accounting, compliance, controls, and reporting activities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various department heads to ensure alignment with global practices and drive financial success in the market.
As the Regional Finance Controller, your responsibilities will include managing month-end closing activities such as journal entries, accruals, fixed assets tracking, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, US GAAP, and IFRS across the entire region. Additionally, you will play a key role in audits, regulatory reporting preparation, financial statement consolidation, internal control development, and automation of finance processes.
To excel in this role, you should have at least 10 years of accounting experience (including consultancy), a strong grasp of local GAAP and IFRS standards, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems. A proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks are essential qualities we are looking for. Fluency in English is required while knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous.
Ideal candidates will possess a CPA or equivalent professional designation along with Big 4 experience. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred.
