As the Collateral Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing collateral operations within our organization. Your responsibilities will include directing daily collateral operations such as allocation, monitoring, optimization, and reconciliation. You will define collateral eligibility, margin requirements, and ensure compliance with risk, legal, and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will optimize collateral utilization to minimize funding costs and liquidity risks while overseeing valuation, margining, and reconciliation processes to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (MBA preferred), along with 10+ years of experience in Financial Services or a similar sector. A certification such as FRM or PRM would be advantageous. You should also possess expertise in collateral management, margin requirements, and regulatory frameworks with at least 4 years of experience in managerial roles. Collaborating with custodians and financial institutions on collateral segregation and safekeeping will be part of your daily tasks as you implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency and compliance.
