As the Senior Manager - Finance for the Retail Discount business line, you will play a crucial role in shaping financial performance and strategic direction. Working closely with senior leadership within the Retail Discount line, you will provide financial insights, strategic guidance, and support for key business decisions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations is essential to ensure financial goals are met, key initiatives are supported, and overall business performance is optimized.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing key financial metrics aligned with business objectives, supporting decision-making through financial analysis of opportunities like new product offerings or pricing strategies, serving as a trusted advisor to shape long-term success by offering sound financial guidance to business leaders. Additionally, you will lead budgeting processes for the Retail Discount line, analyze business performance through variance analysis to improve profitability and develop detailed financial models to support various initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you should be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 7 years of finance experience including 5 years in finance business partnering within a retail or consumer-facing environment. Strong understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills are necessary to interpret complex financial data effectively.
