We are currently seeking a Senior Manager - Finance to join our MAF Retail team at the UAE Corporate Head Office.
As the Senior Manager - Finance for the Retail Discount business line, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial performance and strategic direction. Collaborating closely with senior leadership within the Retail Discount line, you will provide valuable financial insights, strategic guidance, and support for key business decisions. Working alongside cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations is essential to ensure that financial goals are achieved, key initiatives are supported effectively, and overall performance is optimized across the business.
Responsibilities include partnering with the Retail Discount leadership team to drive financial strategy by developing and managing key financial metrics aligned with business objectives. You will support decision-making through detailed financial analysis of various business opportunities like new product offerings or pricing strategies. Additionally, you will oversee budgeting processes and forecasting activities while providing accurate financial performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaboration with other departments like Operations or Marketing will be crucial in implementing cost management strategies effectively.
We are looking for a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with over 7 years of finance experience including at least 5 years in a finance business partnering role within a retail or consumer-facing environment. Strong analytical skills combined with a deep understanding of accounting principles are necessary for success in this role.
