Regional Director of Technology and Engineering

Middle East Broadcasting Networks, Inc. (MBN) is a non-profit organization that serves as a grantee of the federal government, aiming to provide objective and accurate news and information to the people of the Middle East and North Africa through various media platforms such as television, radio, and digital media. At our Dubai office in the UAE, we are currently seeking a Regional Director of Technology and Engineering to join our Broadcast Operations team.

As the Regional Director of Technology and Engineering at MBN, you will be responsible for overseeing the information technology and engineering department across all overseas offices. Your primary role will involve identifying and implementing innovative technologies to support MBN's enterprise and broadcast activities efficiently. You will serve as the Technical Project Manager for multiple projects, managing tasks delegation while ensuring global consistency in Broadcast Engineering and IT Infrastructure in collaboration with MBN’s Director of Engineering and IT.

In this position, you will work closely with senior management to develop strategic roadmaps for both Broadcast Engineering and Enterprise IT needs. You will lead a team of Broadcast Engineers, Enterprise IT professionals, and Technical Operations Center (TOC) staff members by providing guidance on staff development, performance management, process compliance, quality standards implementation, financial resource management, and personnel resources allocation. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying cost-effective upgrade strategies for MBN’s infrastructure, implementing cloud solutions to support broadcast operations effectively, staying updated on emerging technologies relevant to MBN's operations, supervising vendor relationships related to engineering and IT support services.
