Financial Controller

As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of our hotel, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will be responsible for establishing and enhancing internal controls, managing and developing a high-performing team, reviewing capital expenditures, and fostering strong relationships with third parties in the region. Working closely with the Hotel General Manager, cross-functional Executive Team, and Corporate Office, you will drive the overall performance of the hotel.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field along with a professional accounting qualification. You should have at least 5 years of managerial experience in driving hotel finance performance. Strong technical accounting, finance, and taxation skills are essential, as well as experience in preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and presenting management and statutory reports. Knowledge of hotel internal controls and budget processes is required. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Experience in rebranding/pre-opening activities and managing cluster finance operations would be advantageous. Proficiency in English language skills and computer literacy is necessary for this role.
