As the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing all general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes. You will develop and maintain financial accounting systems for various financial processes such as cash management and credit control. Additionally, you will oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
In order to excel in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting along with CPA/CA/CIMA qualifications. A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management roles is required, preferably within a multinational company. Strong knowledge of IFRS and proficiency in financial reporting software are essential. The ideal candidate should also possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
