We are currently looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team and oversee all financial operations to ensure the company's financial health. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, with a strong expertise in Oracle ERP system, and a proven track record of working with parent companies. Previous experience in the retail industry would be preferred.
As the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include managing financial reporting and compliance by preparing balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements while ensuring adherence to UAE regulations and IFRS standards. You will also be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and monthly group reporting to align with corporate financial strategies. Additionally, conducting financial data analysis, developing internal controls, managing cash flow and liquidity, coordinating audits, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning are key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management is required along with strong expertise in Oracle ERP system. Experience working with parent companies within a group structure is essential. Deep knowledge of UAE financial regulations, IFRS standards, tax compliance as well as excellent analytical skills, communication abilities and stakeholder management skills are necessary for success in this role.
