As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, ensuring accuracy in financial statements, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic financial planning. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred. With at least 10 years of experience in FP&A and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity, you must possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems is essential for success in this position. Additionally, excellent analytical skills, organizational capabilities, problem-solving abilities along with strong leadership qualities are key requirements for this role. Effective communication skills are vital as you will be required to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders such as Business Heads and Division Heads.
