As the Section Manager R&D, you will play a crucial role in conducting benchmarking activities against competitor models by analyzing market trends, field quality data, customer feedback, media impressions, NSC inputs, and competitiveness assessments with other brands. You will propose key changes and inputs for future models to design/test and manufacturing teams. Additionally, you will conduct customer interviews and surveys to understand customer requirements and usage patterns. Your responsibilities will also include creating market design standards to ensure the release of optimal models in the market.

In this role, you will be expected to lead/manage the target setting phase/performance target activity phase based on market requirements and customer expectations for various models in GCC. You will serve as the frontline marketability in charge for conducting marketability and evaluation tests of engineering methods on GCC models to ensure performance target achievement before SOP (start of production). Furthermore, you will internally support marketing, sales, and planning functions in business expansion activities for new model launches, motor shows, media drives, product communication & sales campaigns.
