Our company, a leading player in the metal trading industry based in the United Arab Emirates, is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the organization. This includes managing accounting processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with senior management to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to drive business growth. Additionally, you will lead the company's cash flow management efforts and collaborate with trading teams to ensure efficient financial planning and risk management.

In this role, you will also play a key part in ensuring compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and applicable accounting regulations. You will lead the audit process, liaise with external auditors, and assist in tax planning to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations. Moreover, you will be responsible for implementing robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial accuracy. As a leader within the organization, you will mentor a small team of finance professionals to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. You should have at least 10 years of relevant finance experience, including 1-2 years working at a Big 4 accounting firm. Extensive experience in financial reporting within the trading industry is required, along with proficiency in LME trading practices and financial regulations. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
