As the Finance Manager at OnHires UAE, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the company. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, managing financial reporting processes, and providing accurate financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager role include daily accounting tasks such as bookkeeping and preparing financial statements. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with UAE regulations (VARA/DFSA) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), conducting financial analysis for business decisions, coordinating with external auditors during audits, implementing internal controls to safeguard assets, managing treasury functions including cash management and foreign exchange operations, preparing payroll reports, and assisting other departments with management reports.
To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or related field) along with at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting. A professional accounting qualification such as CPA or ACCA is highly beneficial. Additionally, fluency in English is required while knowledge of other languages is an advantage. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles specific to the UAE market along with experience using financial/accounting software and ERP systems.
