Perfect Purity, a leading company in the United Arab Emirates, is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. We are seeking a strategic and analytical individual who possesses a deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices to oversee all aspects of our financial operations.
As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for various key responsibilities that include overseeing the full accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts, leading month-end and year-end closing processes, maintaining compliance with local and regional accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), preparing consolidated financial statements for multiple entities across different markets, managing transfer pricing strategies to ensure tax efficiency, coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities for compliance, managing corporate tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions within the region, and leading a high-performing finance team while fostering a positive work environment.
To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field along with professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in financial control, accounting, and compliance preferably in Retail, Publishing or Technology industries. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial consolidation processes, regional transfer pricing regulations along with experience working with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle are essential requirements.
