Senior Manager - Contracts

As the Senior Manager - Contracts, you will play a crucial role in managing all activities related to post-award contractual, legal, and commercial issues. This includes overseeing contracts with clients, partnering agreements with potential partners, and supporting the Contracts Manager in risk and opportunity review processes. You will be responsible for identifying, mitigating, and managing contractual/legal risks throughout the post-award stage. Additionally, you will supervise and direct a team of Deputy Managers, Contract Engineers, Contracts Administrators, and other commercial functions as required.

In this role, you will support the initiation and preparation of variations and claims to clients while also assisting in defending, negotiating, and resolving claims. You will work closely with the Director and other team members to compile supporting documents for potential claims and prepare advance defense strategies for issues that may arise during project execution. The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills who can effectively manage complex contractual matters while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
