The finance department, led by a Vice President of Finance and consisting of approximately 60 individuals, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
As the Senior Financial Analyst at Pharmascience, you will serve as an advisor to managers, directors, and vice presidents within the International business unit. Your responsibilities will include providing financial support to commercial and finance teams by reviewing monthly results, launching new products, supporting business cases, executing margin optimization strategies, and planning for future forecasts. In addition to managing business processes within SAP and OneStream, you will provide variance analysis, performance insights, and make directional decisions. This role requires a self-starter who thrives on challenges and utilizes exceptional technical skills to optimize internal processes for operational excellence and financial performance.
Based in Dubai (English), the Senior Financial Analyst's key responsibilities include conducting financial analysis by developing profit and loss reports for the MEA region. You will support the Finance Manager with global reporting at month-end and year-end while analyzing revenues and expenses for service projects across three regions. Additionally, you will lead forecasting and planning for MEA while collaborating with departments on annual budgets and strategic plans. Supporting the sales team in evaluating new business opportunities, leading financial projections for product launches, providing ad hoc analysis support are also crucial aspects of this role.
To excel in this position at Pharmascience in Dubai (English), you must coordinate month-end analyses and journal entries after adjustments while preparing monthly results presentations for finance teams. Year-end accounting tasks such as Sales in Transit reconciliation are also part of your responsibilities. By reviewing best practices in financial control processes like commission accruals in SAP system implementation; maintaining documentation; collaborating with other units; promoting continuous improvement initiatives - you will contribute significantly towards enhancing our current business processes.
