Manager Finance and Accounts (US GAAP and IFRS) – Manufacturing

As the Manager Finance and Accounts at Plantous, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting aspects for our manufacturing company. This includes ensuring accurate financial statements are produced in compliance with both US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). You will manage day-to-day accounting operations such as accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions with a strong emphasis on compliance and internal controls within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements under both US GAAP and IFRS standards for internal and external reporting purposes.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Manage general ledger function, oversee accounts payable/receivable processes including vendor reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards like US GAAP and IFRS.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will collaborate with production teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and inventory valuation specific to the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a CA or CPA or CWA qualification with at least 5 years of experience in financial reporting within a manufacturing environment.
