As an Industrial Accountant at Prime Plastic Industries L.L.C., you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager or Chief Financial Officer (CFO), your key duties will include maintaining financial records related to manufacturing, conducting detailed cost analyses for production activities, monitoring variances between actual and budgeted costs, developing budgets aligned with company goals, preparing financial reports specific to manufacturing operations, and ensuring accurate inventory valuation. Additionally, you will collaborate with production and procurement teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is highly desirable. You should also have proven experience as an Industrial Accountant or Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastic or HDPE industry. Proficiency in accounting software like SAP or Oracle, advanced Excel skills, strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, clear communication skills with non-financial managers are essential for this role. Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in the UAE would be advantageous.
