We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant / Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the company's revenue recognition process and managing the accounts receivable function. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with revenue recognition principles under IFRS, reviewing contracts for proper revenue recognition, preparing monthly revenue reconciliations, creating analytical insights dashboards, leading the month-end close process, identifying process improvements for efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, be a qualified certified accountant (ACCA, CA, CPA or similar), possess a minimum of 6 years of experience in revenue recognition with strong knowledge of IFRS. Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and proficiency in Excel is required. Strong analytical skills, ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail with focus on accuracy and quality are essential. Prior experience in audit is preferred along with a track record of managing high volumes of data. Desired capabilities include being able to move fast and make things happen while valuing data over opinions.
