As the Director of Operations at Raffles Dubai, you will have the crucial responsibility of overseeing the Hotel’s Rooms and Food & Beverage Divisions. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing employees while optimizing profits and maintaining the highest level of service quality for our guests. You will lead departmental meetings, manage supplier relations, and ensure overall maintenance of the hotel. Your role involves setting goals for gross operating profit, Guest Satisfaction, Brand Consistency, and Employee Engagement while adhering to Accor established guidelines.
Key responsibilities include supporting the annual budgeting process, managing expenses within budget limits, guiding management teams towards achieving performance goals, approving expenses following ACCOR protocol, representing the Raffles Brand in projecting a credible image to the market and colleagues alike. You will also be responsible for establishing positive owner relations through effective communication with appointed Owner’s representatives.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess solid business acumen with a good understanding of luxury hotel operations. They should have proven leadership skills in building strong employee engagement and effectively leading a diverse culture of leaders and employees. A Bachelor's degree from reputable hotel schools is preferred along with a minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel management experience with a strong F&B background gained from working in key cities/resort destinations globally. Fluency in English is required with proficiency in Arabic considered desirable but not mandatory.
