As a Senior Accountant at Rania Group, your primary responsibilities will include overseeing all financial reporting matters and daily accounting operations. You will be tasked with ensuring timely and accurate financial closing on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Additionally, you will liaise with external counterparts such as auditors, bankers, and government agencies while handling tax filing matters. Collaborating closely with regional and global HQ teams to maintain consistency in accounting practices is essential. Moreover, you will play a key role in communicating financial information to management, ensuring compliance with reporting standards and statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree along with a professional accountancy qualification (CA/CMA preferred) and have at least 5-7 years of experience in the accounting field. Experience in oil trading on a global scale is mandatory. Proficiency in IFRS & IAS standards is crucial, along with advanced Microsoft Office skills. Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently are highly valued traits at Rania Group. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of Arabic would be advantageous.
