Our client, a prominent real estate company in the UAE, is seeking a dedicated General Accountant to join their team. Our company prides itself on providing top-tier real estate services and maintaining high standards of financial integrity. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can accurately record property transactions, lease agreements, and sales, while generating monthly and annual financial reports tailored to our real estate operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in processing vendor payments, contractor invoices, utility bills, and tracking rental income and tenant deposits to ensure timely collection of dues. Additionally, reconciling property-specific accounts, bank statements, and tenant balances will be essential to maintain accurate financial records aligned with lease and contract terms.
As a General Accountant with our client, your responsibilities will also include preparing VAT filings and ensuring compliance with local tax laws. We are seeking candidates who are open to Arabic nationalities, possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and have professional certifications such as CPA or CMA (advantageous). Proficiency in accounting software used in real estate operations is required along with at least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role within the real estate industry. The position offers a competitive salary of up to 14K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications as well as benefits as per UAE labor law.
