Our client, a global Petrochemical Group of Companies based in Dubai, UAE, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chief Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis. Specializing in the trading and manufacturing of various coating products, our client prides itself on its commitment to quality and innovation in the industry. As the Chief Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include verifying petty monthly payroll, preparing profit & loss statements for financial analysis, monitoring fuel consumption of company vehicles, generating sales reports based on customer and product categories, as well as auditing daily trial balances. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records are maintained while identifying any discrepancies for immediate rectification.
To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with at least 5 years of experience in Management and Accounting. Additionally, proficiency in UAE VAT regulations, IFRS standards, as well as software such as Sage, Quick Books, Tally, Baan, Dot net MS Office & Case ware is essential. The ideal candidate will be a male between 35 to 40 years old with excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial principles.
