Working closely with the Financial Controller and management, you will ensure that the group's financial strategy is implemented effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, implementing controls, and mentoring staff to promote teamwork and efficiency within the department. You will verify daily bank balances, review bank reconciliation statements weekly, oversee Accounts Payable processes, and ensure timely supplier payments. Additionally, you will reconcile revenue reports, maintain proper inventory records, and perform month-end accounts reconciliation before issuing monthly financial statements. Your attention to detail will be crucial in identifying any gaps or variances that need to be addressed promptly.
As the Chief Accountant at SEVEN, you will also be tasked with reviewing various monthly reports such as F&B reports and Cost Controller's reports in line with company policies. Ensuring timely tax payments and filings are made while resolving any variances is essential. Furthermore, you will assist the Financial Controller in reviewing accounting policies, budgeting processes, financial analysis tasks, and other ad-hoc duties as required by management. Keeping abreast of new regulations and ensuring proper filing of accounting records will also be part of your responsibilities.
