As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Hedge Funds and Public Markets to play a crucial role in managing hedge funds and public market investments both locally and internationally.
In this role, you will lead the sourcing of fund investments such as hedge funds, developed markets equities, and fixed income through an extensive network of advisors and banking relationships. You will evaluate prospective fund managers by analyzing their track record, benchmarking performance, assessing risks, and understanding portfolio impact. Additionally, you will conduct due diligence meetings with fund managers and create presentations to communicate findings and recommend investment opportunities to management.
As the Senior Manager - Hedge Funds and Public Markets, you will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of external managers, peer universe analysis, market developments assessment, and risk exposure evaluation on the investment portfolio. Your role will involve managing information flow efficiently by utilizing robust tools to provide ongoing insights into fund performance, exposures, and risks.
Furthermore, this position entails people management responsibilities including setting performance expectations for team members, conducting regular evaluations, providing feedback and coaching as needed. You will identify training needs within the team, communicate organizational goals effectively through regular team meetings while delegating tasks appropriately. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Mathematics or Economics with 2-7 years of experience in Financial or Investment fields. A master's degree or MBA/CFA is preferred.
