As the Finance Manager at SmartStay, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our organization and its sister companies. We are seeking self-starters who excel in financial planning, analysis, and management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting (cash & accrual), analyzing financial data, managing cash flow, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards, overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, monitoring financial performance against budgets, managing contracts and generating portfolio performance reports on OTAs.
To qualify for this role, you must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with extensive experience in financial planning and management. Proficiency in Google Sheets and familiarity with QuickBooks are required. Experience in the short-term rental sector with OTAs like Airbnb and Booking.com is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills in English are essential.
