We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Finance Manager in preparing all reporting and analysis requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities include posting vouchers, conducting surprise spot-checks on cashiers' floats and stock counts, preparing for audits and tax filings, maintaining the General Ledger, reconciling Balance Sheet accounts and bank statements, allocating shared expenses among departments, compiling budgets and forecasts, managing the Fixed Asset Register, supervising tasks within the Accounting & Finance Department.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with proven experience in finance or accounting roles within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for complex formulas and financial modeling. Attention to detail, time management skills to meet deadlines, tax regulations understanding, general ledger management expertise, analytical skills to identify discrepancies are crucial. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are necessary along with discretion in handling sensitive financial data.
