We are currently seeking a Manager - Internal Controls who will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our internal controls framework, focusing on Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR). The ideal candidate will ensure that internal controls over financial reporting are accurately designed and implemented in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices. Responsibilities include maintaining the ICoFR framework, conducting risk assessments, testing controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with stakeholders across departments, promoting continuous improvement, performing fraud risk assessments, and assisting in fraud prevention efforts.

To be successful in this role, candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field along with professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or CA. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in internal controls or audit with a focus on ICoFR is required. Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks like COSO and financial reporting standards such as IFRS is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like Oracle Financials is necessary. Experience working in the UAE or Middle East region is advantageous along with familiarity with UAE regulations.

• 7 to 10 years of experience in internal controls, audit, or risk management
• Experience working in the UAE or the Middle East region is a significant advantage
