Commercial/Contract Manager (Water & Wastewater)

Our team in the United Arab Emirates is currently seeking a Commercial/Contract Manager specializing in Water & Wastewater projects.

As the Commercial/Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing commercial and contract management activities for a major infrastructure restoration project involving a deep wastewater pumping station. Your responsibilities will include managing EPC contracts, conducting cost and commercial analysis, leading contract negotiation processes, and ensuring compliance with project deliverables and financial controls. You will work closely with project teams to align commercial activities with stakeholder expectations, facilitate efficient procurement processes, manage subcontractors effectively, and resolve disputes promptly.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of 20 years of experience in wastewater management focusing on large-scale infrastructure projects. You should be an expert in EPC contracts and FIDIC contract management with at least 5 years of experience in commercial or contract management roles on similar projects. Additionally, holding PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and being RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) certified are essential requirements. Strong skills in commercial negotiations, contract risk management, financial planning, cost control, leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving are also critical for success.
