As a Resident Engineer at Stantec, you will be responsible for overseeing water infrastructure projects in Dubai. You must possess a relevant degree from a recognized university and have at least 15 years of experience in infrastructure works. Your role will involve having full knowledge of existing infrastructure in the Emirates of Dubai and making on-the-spot decisions while dealing with all Service Authorities. Additionally, you should have expertise in pipelines, cables, sewers, manholes, connection chambers, and pumping station works, as well as non-disruptive road crossings.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with DM General Conditions of Contract, Quality Assurance practices, Quantity Surveying techniques, and Project Network Techniques like Primavera. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera are essential for this role. You should be confident in your ability to control works effectively and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated abilities to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, cost estimates, make decisions independently, and liaise with DM and other infrastructure authorities are crucial for success in this position.
