We are currently seeking a Safety Engineer specializing in Water Recycle projects to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety, health, and environmental management on projects related to stormwater & drainage, flood alleviation, wastewater networks, and water distribution networks. Key responsibilities include developing site safety plans, conducting safety meetings and audits, providing safety training as needed, performing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
The successful candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. They should have experience in infra project HSE supervision management, client service management, internal and external client liaison, as well as the ability to build and maintain a safe working environment on-site. Strong communication skills are essential for consulting with workers and management on safety practices. The Safety Engineer will also be expected to complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and Quality Systems while maintaining a healthy and safe workplace environment.
