As a Senior Engineer - Structural (Sewage, Pumping stations) at Stantec, you will play a crucial role in monitoring structural works to ensure compliance with contract documents and procedures manual. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving technical submittals, answering RFIs related to structure and architecture, supervising structural activities, and maintaining progress records. Additionally, you will liaise with sub consultants, review contractor's change order proposals, and assist with inspection of completed works.
To excel in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering along with a minimum of 10 years of total experience. Experience in pumping station projects, concrete tanks, steel tanks, DI and CS pipelines is essential. You should also have strong structural design capabilities related to pipeline systems and experience in drafting scope of works to consultants/contractors/subcontractors. Proficiency in reviewing tender documents, site investigation reports, structural design reports/drawings, architectural drawings/method statements/material submissions is required.
