Senior Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer at Stellar Energy working remotely from Jacksonville, FL with occasional onsite visits for meetings, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and design verification of civil foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, buildings, underground works, earthworks related to Steam Turbine Island and Balance of Plant Equipment and Systems. You will be responsible for reviewing engineering deliverables prepared by the Engineer of Record (EOR) such as studies, calculations piling design drawings; ensuring compliance with procedures codes standards; supporting major equipment procurement activities including specification development/review technical evaluations vendor-provided design & engineering submittals.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering
• Experience with design activities related to Civil, Architectural & Structural aspects
• Experience in major equipment procurement activities
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Knowledge of applicable procedures, codes, and standards

• Provide verification of design for civil foundations, concrete structures, steel structures, buildings, underground works, earthworks
• Review engineer of record prepared engineering deliverables
• Support development of Iraq Projects by reviewing EOR deliverables
