We are currently looking for a skilled Group Consolidation Financial Accountant to join our team urgently. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities within the organization. Key duties include preparing consolidated financial statements in adherence to IFRS standards, reconciling intercompany accounts, supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, collaborating with various departments to validate financial data, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, analyzing financial data for trends and variances, preparing consolidation journal entries and adjustments, supporting external audits, and implementing audit recommendations.
The ideal candidate for this position should hold a CMA/CPA/ACCA/CA qualification with at least 3 years of experience in accounting focusing on consolidation, financial reporting or audit. Previous experience with Big 5 firms would be advantageous. Proficiency in financial reporting software is required along with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central. Strong skills in MS Office Excel and PowerBI are essential. Candidates should have prior exposure to working within multi-national corporate environments or large group structures. Additionally, expertise in financial systems such as SAP, Hyperion or Oracle is preferred. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
