We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to join our team on a 6-month contract basis, with the possibility of extension. Based in Dubai, this role offers a competitive salary of up to 12000 AED. As an outsourced professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of accounts payable processes within our organization.
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, your responsibilities will include processing and verifying accounts payable transactions while maintaining accurate documentation. You will be tasked with reconciling AP, intercompany accounts, and bank statements to resolve any discrepancies promptly. Monitoring cash flow and ensuring fund availability are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you will support month-end and year-end close processes through journal entries and reconciliations, as well as assist with internal and external audits.
To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting principles and ERP software such as SAP or Blackline is required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced MS Excel knowledge are essential for success in this role. The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work under pressure, communicate clearly, and solve problems efficiently are key attributes we are looking for in potential candidates.
