Technopower, a leading manufacturing company based in Sharjah, UAE, specializing in diesel generators, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join their team. As an integral part of the finance department, the successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager/General Manager and play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, managing accounting staff, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all financial and accounting operations. This includes developing and maintaining financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE laws and company objectives. The Accounts Manager will oversee the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, as well as conduct cost analysis and control focusing on manufacturing and operational expenses.
In terms of general accounting responsibilities, the selected individual must ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions. They will maintain the general ledger while ensuring reconciliations of bank accounts, payables, receivables, and inventory are up to date. Additionally, the Accounts Manager will be tasked with preparing and monitoring VAT submissions in compliance with UAE regulations. Strong knowledge in Financial Planning, budgeting, forecasting is a must for this role.
