The Luxe Developers, a prominent real estate development company in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with industry regulations, and providing valuable financial insights that drive business growth and project success.
In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of key responsibilities that are essential to the financial operations of Luxe Developers. You will prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and real estate accounting standards. Working closely with project managers and senior leadership, you will develop and manage budgets for real estate development projects, monitor budget variances, provide insights into cost control and profitability. Additionally, you will oversee cash flow projections and management for project funding and company operations while managing loan draw schedules for financing.
As a Senior Accountant at Luxe Developers, you will also be involved in maintaining accurate cost accounting for all development projects, ensuring timely tax compliance filings including corporate taxes coordination with external tax advisors. You will perform bank reconciliations investigate discrepancies related to payments reconcile accounts track project progress report on profitability manage internal external audits ensure regulatory compliance with real estate regulations stay updated on changes in accounting standards laws impacting financial reporting. Furthermore, you will provide leadership guidance to junior accounting staff continuously improve financial processes internal controls.
Ideal candidates for this position should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) have 5-7 years of accounting experience preferably in real estate construction industries strong knowledge of GAAP IFRS real estate accounting standards proficiency with accounting software excellent analytical problem-solving skills ability to work under tight deadlines manage multiple projects simultaneously.
