This role will be based in Dubai and will involve working closely with one of our esteemed government clients. As a Finance Analyst at Transguard, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial accounting reports, maintaining accurate records on Oracle Financials, and providing essential support to the Finance Manager and other departments in ensuring unified controls and adherence to accounting standards.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include managing financial and management accounting tasks such as closing monthly accounts promptly, tracking expenditure accounts for detailed analysis, producing ad-hoc reports as needed, coordinating with Group Financial Services on transactions, preparing GL schedules regularly, reviewing month-end closing reports, analyzing financial data to identify areas of concern or improvement, and collaborating with auditors to address queries related to financial aspects.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in compliance and control by highlighting non-conformities to the control framework, ensuring adherence to financial covenants and service level agreements, monitoring budgets against actual expenses, overseeing treasury management activities like cash flow development and fund requirements, as well as assisting in strategy planning and budgeting processes by coordinating business planning efforts and aligning strategic objectives with budgets.
