We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial management policies to drive effective decision-making.
As the Accounts Manager, your key responsibilities will include managing the general ledger for accuracy and completeness of financial transactions. You will supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Additionally, you will oversee accounts payable processes such as invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor reconciliations. Managing accounts receivable processes including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations will also be part of your role.
In terms of payroll management, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and benefits while ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws. You will also maintain and manage the fixed asset register by conducting periodic physical verifications of assets for proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposal. Taxation duties include ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations like VAT and corporate tax by preparing and filing tax returns accurately.
Furthermore, you will perform regular reconciliation of accounts receivable from customers to maintain accuracy. Developing strategies to expedite collection of outstanding receivables from customers will be crucial along with preparing detailed reports on accounts receivable status. Your role will involve analyzing trends in receivables to identify areas for improvement in billing processes.
