Our client, a leading FMCG company in Dubai, is dedicated to delivering top-notch products and services to its customers. With a strong focus on innovation and growth, they are looking for a Finance Analyst to join their dynamic team and contribute to their ongoing success.
As a Finance Analyst, you will be instrumental in supporting the finance department with financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive financial analysis on revenue, expenses, and cash flow to identify trends and insights. Additionally, you will assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts while ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. You will also analyze variances between actual financial performance and budgeted/forecasted figures, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for generating and presenting financial reports to management that highlight key findings and provide actionable insights. Your role will also involve analyzing product costs, pricing strategies, and profitability to support decision-making processes aimed at optimizing financial performance. In addition to regular duties, you will perform ad-hoc financial analysis as well as support special projects/initiatives assigned by management while ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all financial activities.
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related field along with 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong analytical skills coupled with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis are essential requirements. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools is crucial along with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be considered an advantage.
