Finance Analyst

Valkyrie People Consulting is currently seeking a Finance Analyst to join the team of our client, a leading FMCG company based in Dubai, UAE. Our client is dedicated to providing top-notch products and services while prioritizing innovation and growth. As a Finance Analyst, you will be an integral part of the finance department, responsible for conducting detailed financial analysis, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, performing variance analysis, generating financial reports, analyzing costs, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will be expected to utilize your analytical skills to delve into financial data such as revenue, expenses, and cash flow to identify trends and provide valuable insights. You will also play a crucial role in preparing annual budgets and forecasts that align with the organization's business objectives. Additionally, your responsibilities will include analyzing variances between actual financial performance and budgeted/forecasted figures to recommend corrective actions that optimize financial performance.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field along with at least 2 years of experience in financial analysis or similar roles within the FMCG industry. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems would be considered advantageous.
