As an IT Director at VOCO Hotels, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that reliable hardware and seamless software are at the core of every IHG experience. Your responsibilities will include installing new systems, enhancing security measures, and establishing exceptional standards to support our teams effectively. You will serve as the primary contact for servicing computer hardware, ensuring proper installation and efficient operation while regularly updating the GM, Director of Finance, Business Support, and Area IT Leader. Staying up-to-date with approved systems and technologies from LAN to POS will be essential, as well as maintaining hardware and software performance, security standards (both digital and physical), and evaluating vendor proposals. Additionally, you will share your expertise with the hotel team through knowledge-sharing sessions and training to enhance their IT skills. Safeguarding our IT infrastructure against cyber threats will also be a key aspect of your role.
