Chief Accountant

We are currently seeking a Chief Accountant to join our Finance Department and play a crucial role in overseeing all financial operations.

As the Chief Accountant at Women First Jobs, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, as well as compliance with relevant regulations. Your key responsibilities will include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, leading the annual budgeting process, analyzing variances between actual and budgeted figures, ensuring tax compliance and planning, overseeing fleet management accounting, conducting detailed financial analysis, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supervising the accounting team.

To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or Master's degree preferred) with a minimum of 6 years of accounting experience, preferably in the car rental or automotive industry. You should have strong knowledge of fleet management and rental revenue accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and financial modeling tools is essential. Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective leadership abilities, strong communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
